**Gil Coat is a coating that can be applied to most any metallic part. It is a smooth porcelain-like finish that practically fuses to the metal to which it is applied. Gil Coat is a stain resistant and non-conductive finish. It prevents rusting, corroding and is resistant to acids, fuels and weathering. You can beat, bend or dent it (within reason) without chipping the finish. It can be sanded or filed. Scratches can be rubbed out and polished. Standard colors are black, bright white, and off white.
